Privacy Policy

Information used by the service

• Account information: your email address, a password hash, email-verification and password-reset records, and login sessions. Your password is not stored as readable text.
• Birth profiles and reports: the birth date, time, coordinates, time zone and biological sex you submit, chart calculations, and generated interpretations.
• Orders: selected products and variants, quantities, prices, discounts, purchase-policy acknowledgment, order IDs, payment status, and PayPal order/capture references.
• Shipping: the recipient’s name, address and phone number for physical purchases, plus shipment and tracking information.
• Security and support: information needed to operate the service, such as request and error records, IP-based abuse prevention, and messages you send to support.

How we use and share information

We use this information to authenticate users, calculate charts, generate and deliver reports, process orders, fulfill shipments, answer support requests and prevent fraud. Depending on applicable law, processing is based on providing the service you request, legal obligations, legitimate interests in securing the service, or consent where required.

Relevant chart and report information is sent to our AI provider, DeepSeek, for interpretation and translation. Analysis is not performed solely in your browser. Hosting and database services support storage; Cloudflare supports website security and human verification; our email provider supports verification, account recovery and support messages.

PayPal receives payment information to process purchases and prevent fraud under its Privacy Statement. Necessary delivery information may be shared with fulfillment providers and carriers for physical orders. Service providers may process information outside your country, under applicable data-protection requirements.

Payment security

Payments are processed by PayPal. Full card numbers and card security codes are entered directly into PayPal’s hosted payment fields; LumePersona does not collect or store those details or your PayPal password. We do retain the order and payment references needed to confirm purchases, handle refunds and provide support. Physical orders also require the delivery details described above.

Cookies and retention

Essential cookies support sign-in, security and checkout. Account sessions can remain active for up to 30 days unless you sign out or the session is revoked. We also remember your cookie preference. LumePersona currently uses no optional tracking cookies; you can reopen Cookie preferences using the site’s control. PayPal’s payment services operate under PayPal’s own cookie and privacy notices.

Anonymous birth information and results are available for 7 days from the start of the anonymous session. Saving a profile to your account requires your action. Saved profiles remain until deleted. Deleting a profile revokes access to its related reports and removes their personal-data payloads; necessary order records may remain for accounting, refunds, disputes and legal obligations.

Other account, security and support records are kept as needed for their stated purposes and applicable obligations. Access is restricted to authorized service operations and support.

Your choices and rights

You can delete saved profiles in your account. Contact support@lumepersona.com to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal information, or to ask about retention and international processing. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Do not send card numbers, security codes or passwords to support. No online service can guarantee absolute security; contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
