BaZi describes the year, month, day, and hour of birth through four pairs of Chinese calendrical symbols. Relationships among the five elements are interpreted as patterns within this tradition.
What are the five elements?+
Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water describe interacting qualities in the system. We use their traditional and aesthetic correspondences as prompts for reflection and personal expression, not physical ingredients of a person.
What does the free overview include?+
Your four pillars, a short Western chart overview, and color, number, shape, material, direction, and other available elemental correspondences. It does not assign a scientifically measured personality type.
The Western perspective
A chart of a moment.
A natal chart maps astronomical positions for the birth time and place you provide. The positions are calculated; the personal meanings assigned to them are astrological interpretations.
Why do time and place matter?+
The rising sign and houses depend on the birth moment and location. The Sun, Moon, and other bodies also move over time. We need your local birth time, coordinates, and an appropriate time zone rather than silently choosing them for you.
How is the chart different from a horoscope?+
A natal chart has more detail than a reading based only on a Sun sign. More detail does not make its personality interpretations scientifically validated or turn them into medical or life advice.

The deeper report reads the two traditions independently across the same 30 personality themes. A defined comparison combines nearby scores, weights intermediate differences by model confidence, and sets aside strongly conflicting scores.
What does AI contribute?+
AI turns the symbolic inputs into interpretations and writes seven report sections. A confidence value is the model’s own assessment of its reading; it is not a measured probability or a validation score.
What are the paired-trait cards?+
Seven cards draw from a written collection of paired-trait interpretations. They explore possible strengths, patterns, and challenges. These are reflection prompts, not diagnoses. The deeper report requires an authorized order; new purchases are not currently open.
A careful starting point
Your details matter.
Use your recorded local birth date and time. Choose the birth location and confirm its IANA time zone. Coordinates alone do not capture all historical daylight-saving rules.
What if I do not know my birth time?+
A complete calculation requires a birth time. Check a birth record or ask someone who may know. In the meantime, explore our labeled sample; we do not invent a time or calculate a result from it.
What happens around daylight-saving changes?+
Some local times occur twice when clocks go back. If that applies, you must identify the first or second occurrence. A time skipped when clocks go forward is not a valid local time and needs correction.
Do the two charts use the same clock?+
The Western chart uses the original birth instant. The BaZi calculation uses our conditional solar-clock adjustment where the location and civil time zone differ substantially; it does not apply a second adjustment to a saved calculation.
